The Rockland County Department of Health will be providing information tables for visitors at Palisades Center starting on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Rockland County Department of Health staff members will be located at the entrances in front of Staples and Macy’s to answer questions, provide informational packets and distribute masks and hand sanitizer.
“We are grateful to partner with the Rockland County Department of Health in a continuing effort to provide a safe and healthy environment for our guests,” said Darrin Houseman, General Manager at Palisades Center.
“The Rockland County Department of Health has conducted dozens of outreach and education events throughout Rockland during the month of July. We will now be bringing these efforts to the Palisades Center in order to share the latest health and safety best practices with residents and visitors. We must all do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and I thank the Palisades Center for welcoming us,” said Commissioner of Health Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert.
In addition to hosting the Rockland County Department of Health, the Palisades Center has also created “Healthy Shopper Guidelines” with Center for Disease Control recommendations that everyone must follow prior to entering the property. Guests are greeted with a wide range of safety and sanitizing policies and procedures, all designed to make Palisades Center as safe as possible for its employees, tenants and guests.
