Transportation Scheduler (Part-time)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) plus a minimum of one year experience in a similar capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience working with people with disabilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Ability to become proficient on other software products as utilized by the position
- Strong familiarity with disability issues and have experience with the disability community
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills, able to interact with all levels of associates in a respectful, confidential manner
- Effective and collaborative team player
- Maintain strong work ethic, and strict adherence to code of ethics, standards of conduct and confidentiality requirements
- Familiarity with Medicaid and CDPA Program
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate services including scheduling volunteers, ordering materials and documenting services provided through the CHORE program.
- Coordinate Veteran Transportation services including scheduling vehicle maintenance and reporting.
- Coordinate scheduling for Medicaid Transportation and responsible for all reporting to the state
- Develop rapport with each person seeking services
- Maintain individual records for each service provided
- Provide monthly reports and all other reporting as required by each Program contract
- Capable of communicating with and in a manner that is culturally sensitive to individuals with disabilities
- Remain current in all agency required trainings
- Reasonable duties as assigned
