Jesmin, a New City resident, has served as the Human Resource Director for Dunkin’ Donuts over the past seven years. Dunkin’ is the world’s leading baked goods and coffee chain that serves millions of customers daily.

Customers at the Dunkin’ in Palisades Center have plentiful options, including iced and hot coffees and espresso drinks with a wide variety of flavors and swirls. They also serve morning breakfast and lunch options that constantly change as the brand brings on new items.

Interacting with the employees is Jesmin’s favorite part of her job. Her role is instrumental in building workplace team relations and offering coaching and training for employees wishing to grow into leadership roles. Planning events throughout the year to build camaraderie is another aspect of the job Jesmin loves.

Dunkin’ believes that being a good corporate citizen is good business and is committed to making a positive impact, locally and nationally. Under Jesmin’s leadership, Dunkin’ employees volunteer at local food pantries, People to People, and the Food Bank of New Jersey. She also coordinates an annual raffle where 50% of the proceeds benefit the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.

Jesmin dedicates her free time to giving back to her local community. Over the year, she has stocked the food shelves at People to People, organized coat drives for the Nyack Homeless Shelter, and facilitated fundraisers for a South Asian women’s organization, AWAKE. She currently serves as an active board member of the Rockland Community Foundation and is passionate about raising awareness of the work and services provided by the Center for Safety and Change.

Jesmin’s advice for women is never to fear change. Embrace it!
