On Saturday, June 22nd, Proshred Security will host their “Shred Cancer” event in the Palisades Center parking lot. Individuals may bring boxes of documents or multi-media to one of Proshred’s on-site shredding trucks to safely and securely dispose of unwanted personal information. The suggested donation of $5.00 per box will go directly towards funding AICR’s cancer research and education programs.
For the past six years, Proshred Security has taken initiative to assist the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) by hosting a donation event in various locations across the United States. There will be over thirty events held nationwide and Palisades Center is the only location in the New York Metropolitan-area hosting “Shred Cancer.” The fundraising goal this year is $55,000.00.
“We’re excited to partner for the sixth year with Proshred. It’s a great opportunity for community involvement and to come out in support of cancer research,” said Catherine Horvath, assistant marketing director of Palisades Center.
