Mobile Movies, a local production company, is partnering with Palisades Center to bring the drive-in movie experience to Clarkstown and Rockland County. Movie showings will take place every Thursday-Sunday starting on Friday, September 4 and will run through Sunday, October 4. Movies will show in Parking Lot F near The Cheesecake Factory.
“Palisades Center is a place where families and friends can make memorable experiences,” said Darrin Houseman, General Manager of Palisades Center. “The drive-in theater is a way for us to provide Clarkstown and the surrounding communities with another safe and fun entertainment option to enjoy during this challenging time.”
Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann said, “We are pleased the Palisades Mall has applied and received approval for our new temporary drive in movie permits. We are going to continue to work with our local businesses to find ways to keep them thriving in these challenging times. We hope that the Drive-In Movies will attract people looking for a fun end to the summer season.”
One event ticket includes a socially distanced parking spot for your vehicle, two sealed movie candies, and two free drinks. For the complete movie-going experience, food concessions can be purchased by Palisades Center restaurants before the show starts.
