April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and “Denim Day” has become a symbol of protest against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual assault based on a trial overturned in the 1990s. The Center for Safety & Change will be hosting an event protesting against rape culture, with surprise performances. Attendees are invited to wear teal and denim to support the cause.
