POSITION DESCRIPTION:  

BRIDGES operates a variety of programs guided by the Philosophy of Independent Living to provide services and supports for individuals with disabilities to experience autonomy in all areas of living.

The Director of CDPA oversees the CDPA Department and partners closely with BRIDGES Administrative team to align on growth priorities and strategy for quality improvement in the Program.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in Healthcare Service or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience.
  • Must have knowledge of Electronic Visit Verification systems;
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office or G-Suite
  • Investigative ability, highly organized, self-motivated, takes initiative, excellent written and verbal skills
  • Communication and analytical critical thinking skills; able to perform without much supervision
  • Understand the regulations governing the home care field, related to Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance programs
  • Have a solid understanding of communicating effectively with personal assistants, consumers and their families, medical and community affiliates in order to develop positive relationships
  • Demonstrates a commitment to maintain a high degree of consumer satisfaction and strives to work as a team player

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all aspects of the CDPA Department’s Coordination, Intake and Enrollments
  • Oversee eligibility and intake process for all CDPA referrals from all referral sources
  • Ensure referrals are addressed and processed consistently and efficiently
  • Assist referrals with CDPA eligibility as needed
  • Manage Specialists to ensure all new consumers complete paperwork properly and enroll following compliance guidelines
  • Manage team and ensure all staffing, attendance, EVV processes meet company guidelines
  • Collaborate with administration to review CDPA compliance, applications and insurance incidents
  • Analyze efficiencies and productivity
  • Participate in meetings with Management to discuss growth and development of the department
  • Provide monthly analysis of the CDPA Department
  • Responsible for educating consumers on the services BRIDGES provide
  • Supervise and provide leadership and training to CDPA team members
  • Conduct weekly team meetings, review cases and resolve program issues
  • Complete and submit relevant reports and statistics in a timely manner
  • Supervise all incident reporting and other consumer activities to ensure compliance; document and manage all incidents and report them to the Executive Director
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community service providers and resources
  • Maintain all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements for both applicants/employees and consumers
  • Keep abreast of changes in the CDPA Program industry
