Larry Berglas is an attorney based in Westchester County, New York whose eclectic solo practice includes a focus on the area of art business law and related areas of practice. Since 1990, Larry has counseled and represented clients in copyright, trademark, contract, wills, estates, probates and trusts matters, business matters, nonprofit corporation law matters, negligence and risk matters, litigation and commercial and residential real estate matters.
In addition to his commitment to the law, Larry is a writer and a musician. Larry is the author of Civil Law in America: A Minimalist Law Book, a little law book inspired by the arts. His freelance articles have been published in The New York Times, Travel & Leisure (Books About the Beach), DECOR, Westchester Magazine, Hudson Valley, the International Interactive Communications Society newsletter and at PremierGuitar.com (Anatomy of a Blues Jam), at The GolfExpert.com and at USLaw.com. Larry was a finalist in the Westchester Wag’s Bill and Hillary: The New York Years Short Story Contest. Larry plays acoustic and electric guitar and during his college days, he performed at, among other places, Sloop Clearwater festivals along the Hudson River and at Folk City in Greenwich Village. These days, he may be found playing at local blues jams.
