Going from hanging in the hood to performing comedy on Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show ” not to mention the privilege of afterward being invited to take a seat on the “couch” which not many comics are asked to do has been a long and fulfilling journey. Corey hit his first open mic in 1992 when Adele Givens called him to the stage. He was a smashing success and has been a full-time comedian ever since. He has taken top honors at the Miller Genuine Draft Comedy Search Budweiser Comedy Competition Chicago Home Jam and Laffapalooza. He has appeared at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival and the Chicago Comedy Festival.
Corey’s comedy genius transcends class and racial divides. If you understand English Corey’s humor will tickle your funny bone. People all over the world can relate to the drama of trying to make a relationship work. According to Corey a “hunter” (man) being captured by his “prey” (woman) makes for the best comedy ever.
Corey offers plenty of advice on how men who have been the victim of a “hostile takeover” by the female in the relationship can take back control. You can believe there is no counselor on the planet who offers the kind of relationship advice and remedies Corey dispenses from the stage.
Corey Holcomb’s comedy set is both an auditory and visual experience. His facial gestures alone can make an audience burst with laughter. “I spend a lot of time practicing my stage faces because I need to be able to convey care and concern while I criticize.” Although Corey has a long and diverse resume of successes he remains humble and approachable.
Corey’s film and television credits include independent film “Who’s Watching The Kids ” MTV2′s “Wild ‘N Out ” MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out ” NBC’s “Last Comic Standing ” 20th Century Fox’s “Like Mike ” a recurring role on UPN’s “Half & Half ” NBC’s “The Tonight Show ” BET’s “Comic View ” Fox’s “Mad TV ” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend ” HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam ” “It’s Showtime at the Apollo ” Showtime’s “Shaq’s All Star Comedy Jam ” Tyler Perry’s “House of Pain ” TV Ones “Rickey Smiley Show ” and plays recurring character Robert Tubbs on Fox’s “The Cleveland Show”! He has appeared in three comedy specials of his own Corey Holcomb: “The Problem Is You ” Comedy Central Presents: “Corey Holcomb ” and Showtime Presents: “Your Way Ain’t Working.”
You can currently see Corey in the movie “Think Like A Man Too” and Adult Swim’s new TV series “Black Jesus.”

T. J. Miller at Levity Live Comedy Club
01/10/2020 - 01/12/2020
T. J. Miller at Levity Live Comedy Club Friday, January 10, Saturday, January 11, & Sunday, January 12 Friday Shows: 7:30 PM & 9:45 PM Saturday Shows: 7:00 PM & 9:30 PM Sunday Show: 7:00 PM
T.J. MILLER is one of the most sought after comedians in the world, certainly the northern part of the western hemisphere. He has been diligently working to make people laugh for over fifteen years, and is driven by the altruistic mission statement that life is fundamentally tragic and the best thing he can do is provide an ephemeral escapism from that tragedy which permeates everyday life by doing comedy.
He has been performing his absurdist observational standup act worldwide for over 15 years, and has never gone to the bathroom in his pantaloons on stage. His hour-long comedy specials T.J. MILLER: NO REAL REASON (Comedy Central) and T.J. MILLER: METICULOUSLY RIDICULOUS (HBO) are available to stream now wherever streaming content is streamed.
For no reason he produced two music albums, THE EXTENDED PLAY E.P., a hip-hop/pop/folk music E.P. with 41 tracks, and the ILLEGAL ART REMIXTAPE- available now on iTunes and wherever fake music is sold.
Miller’s voice stars as Gene in the EMOJI MOVIE and Fred in Disney’s Academy Award-winning animated feature, BIG HERO 6. Miller also talks like an old drag queen after a hard night of chain smoking, and thus has voiced many characters including the character Tuffnut in the Oscar-nominated animated films HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON and HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2. He played Auggie in the first R-rated stop motion animated film HELL AND BACK with Nick Swardson and Prancer in ICE AGE: A MAMMOTH CHRISTMAS. In television, he voices Robbie from GRAVITY FALLS, Tuffnut in How To Train Your Dragon’s DRAGONS: RIDERS OF BERK, Brad in HIGH SCHOOL USA!, Randy in F IS FOR FAMILY and a volcano in FAMILY GUY. Don’t forget about GORBURGER, a show so strange you’ll just have to google it to understand.
You may recognize his non-animated face and body from his roles in FOX’s big screen comic book adaptation of DEADPOOL, the highest grossing R-rated film of all time, 2014’s surprise indie hit TRANSFORMERS 4, Pete Holmes’ HBO comedy series CRASHING, Mike Judge’s HBO comedy series SILICON VALLEY, for which he received the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Comedy, or even THE GOODWIN GAMES which was canceled after 7 episodes (he was also on CARPOOLERS with Jerry O’Connel and that lasted 13 episodes). When CHELSEA LATELY was a show, t.j. was on that show quite a bit. A ‘regular’ some might call him.
Miller has been in over 25 major studio films- more than Fabio (and he was in Sharknado 5: Global Swarming) including CLOVERFIELD, SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE, SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD, ROCK OF AGES, OUR IDIOT BROTHER, YOGI BEAR 3D (Ranger Jones, his greatest role to date), UNSTOPPABLE, GET HIM TO THE GREEK, SEARCH PARTY, THE GOODS: LIVE HARD, SELL HARD, and finally his good friend Jay Baruchel’s GOON: LAST OF THE ENFORCERS.
Most recently, T.J. can be seen in OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY, opposite Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston, READY PLAYER ONE directed by Steven Spielberg, & DEADPOOL 2. He resides in New York City, NY, where he struggles to find meaning in an uncertain world.
He is first and foremost, and always will be, a comedian. His Standup is “Smooth Like Fire, Hip Like Lincoln.”
Next year T.J. can be seen in the upcoming film UNDERWATER opposite Kristin Stewart, a Twentieth Century Fox disaster thriller that is the perfect full circle return to his roots in Cloverfield. He will work until his death to make you happy. He loves you. Come and enjoy him perform.

Capone at Levity Live Comedy Club
Capone at Levity Live Comedy Club Tuesday, December 31st at 7:00 & 10:00 PM
History has a funny way of repeating itself. Take the Windy City of Chicago circa the 1820s when a self-proclaimed Brooklyn street politician named Al Capone revolutionized the crime world with his hustling antics. Nearly 70 years later, the Bronx is introduced to Derrick Lee, another hustler who trades in his ruggish-thuggish ways to become a successful entrepreneur and later metamorphosize the world of comedy as Capone, the Gangster of Comedy.
While both Capones lives slightly parallel each other, our beloved comedian’s life is not tragic, but inspirational. Unlike Chi-town’s original crime lord, Capone, the comedian didn’t ignore the warning signs that he needed to cease the hustle. His first and last sign came in 1991 after receiving a nine-month sentence. It was then that the soon-to-be notorious funnyman knew the street life wasn’t his calling. “Jail was a blessing for me,” recalls the 28-year old comedian of his spiraling street career. “At the rate I was going I’d either be spending a whole lot of time there or end up dead.” With a second chance, Capone left the street life and became a home attendant for the mentally challenged. “It may seem a little far fetched that I chose a Samaritan job, but I’ve always been interested in helping people, especially those who can’t do for themselves.” Although his salary was a far cry from his previous income, he valued his freedom enough to stay on a legitimate path and supplemented his wages by moonlighting as a barber on the weekends. It was at his second job, that he began to hone his comedic skills by engaging in intense snap sessions with co-workers. “I was always crackin’ jokes on the customers or my co-workers so the barber shop served as a sort of comedy haven for me.”
It wasn’t until 1992, when a promoter friend of Capone’s challenged him to take his innate talent off the streets and to the stage that his comedy career was launched. “My first show was at Columbia University,” says the eight year comedic veteran of his meager beginnings and who credits his late mother for his comedic sense. “I won the amateur contest and I was invited to perform with the heavy hitters.” Performing with professionals such as Tracey Morgan (Saturday Night Live), Talent (Wyclef Jean’s 1998 The Carnival), Michael Epps (Next Friday) opened up many doors for the boisterous budding comedian. He immediately ditched his day job after he’d saved his earnings to open his first barber shop six years ago. “It was always one of my dreams to have my own barber shop and work for myself.”
Today, the notorious funnyman is also the C.E.O. of D.D.L. Enterprises (his initials) and owns three businesses in the Bronx -a barber and beauty shop and a computer store. In addition to his acute business savvy, Capone’s ability to adapt to any audience has made him a mainstay in the comedy arena. He’s performed at a slew of comedy clubs including New York’s Caroline’s Comedy Club, Uptown Comedy Club, Boston Comedy Club and tons of universities. It is this same universal comedic flair that helped Capone nab his gig as the host of Harlem’s legendary Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre. “My jokes are personal -relationships, children, society, work, ethnicity,” admits Capone who also hosts the majority of the Apollo’s scheduled concerts. “I transform it into a comedic vision.” Luckily for the humorous, the gangster of comedy and his silly comrades had an even bigger vision -to unite The Big Apple’s top five comedians (Capone, Talent, Gerald Kelly, Drew Frasier and Rob Stapleton) for a N.Y. Kings of Comedy tour. “We decided to put this show together about a year ago, but it was difficult with everyone’s conflicting schedules. But when we finally came together I went straight to the Apollo and made it happen.” The Royal Fam’ is such a hot commodity that the show sold out in less than a week and a second show had to be added. “We’ve gotten an overwhelming response and I’m hoping the show will travel soon.”
As if he isn’t already inundated with enough projects, Capone has also done album skits for one of the Ruff Ryder’s canines Drag-On’s solo debut Opposite of H2O and is currently completing his own debut My Life Was No Joke, a clever fusion of comedy, rhythm and blues and rap due out this July. Capone who is also remembered for his unique style of dress is also planning to launch his own clothing line in the near future. With such a hefty plate, it’s hard to imagine what Capone will most be remembered for -his contribution to the history of comedy or his flourishing businesses. “I want to be remembered as the comedian who handled things his way,” says Capone who also manages to be a doting father despite his dual career. “And as far as my personal contribution, I’d like to touch the lives of people who did not believe in themselves. Everybody has problems that they sometimes can’t control. But after the dark tunnel there’s always light, it’s just how long you’re willing to walk that path.”

Gilbert Gottfried at Levity Live Comedy Club
12/20/2019 - 12/22/2019
Gilbert Gottfried at Levity Live Comedy Club Friday, December 20th, Saturday, December 21st, & Sunday, December 22nd Friday Shows: 7:30 PM & 9:45 PM Saturday Shows: 7:00 PM & 9:30 PM Sunday Show: 7:00 PM
At the young age of 15, Gilbert Gottfried began doing stand-up at open mike nights in New York City, after a few short years, became known around town as “the comedian’s comedian.” After spending several years mastering the art of stand-up comedy, producers of the legendary NBC late night comedy show Saturday Night Live became aware of Gottfried and, in 1980, hired him as a cast member. It wasn’t until a few years later when his true notoriety would begin when MTV hired him for a series of improvised and hilarious promos for the newly formed channel. This led to several television appearances on The Cosby Show and Late Night with David Letterman.
Gottfried’s work in television soon led to roles in film. Most notable was his improvised scene as business manager Sidney Bernstein in the hit sequel Beverly Hills Cop II, for which the New York Daily News said, “Gilbert Gottfried steals the picture with a single scene.” Aside from his glowing reputation in comedy clubs, Gottfried began to gain a reputation as the king of quirky roles in both movies and television. He appeared in such movies as Problem Child, Problem Child II, Look Who’s Talking II and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane. He was also the host of the very popular late night movie series USA Up All Night.
After his stellar performance as the wise cracking parrot, IAGO, in the Disney classic Aladdin, Gottfried became one of the most recognizable voiceover talents, lending his voice to several commercials, cartoons and movies, including the frustrated duck in the AFLAC Insurance commercials. Gottfried also is the voice of DIGIT in the long running PBS Series Cyberchase. His signature voice can also be heard on the Comedy Central series, The Annoying Orange, the voice of the horse on Family Guy, Mr. Mxyzptlk in the new Lego Batman 3 – Beyond Gotham video game, and Abraham Lincoln in A Million Ways to Die in the West.
Gottfried has made numerous memorable appearances on Comedy Central Roasts and the Comedy Central series, The Burn with Jeff Ross. Gottfried’s Fifty Shades of Grey reading (College Humor) received over 5 million views on YouTube .
Gilbert has been a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with Seth Meyers, @Midnight with Chris Hardwick and numerous appearances on The Howard Stern Show. He also has had a recurring role on Law and Order SVU as TARU tech Leo Gerber.
Gottfried appeared in the hit comedy documentary The Aristocrats, with Entertainment Weekly saying that “out of the 101 comedians who appear on screen, no one is funnier – or more disgusting – than Gilbert Gottfried.”
In addition, Gottfried, a classic movie lover, was a guest Programmer on TCM. He mock-complained to TCM host Robert Osborne that choosing only four films out of all those available was “the worst homework assignment ever!”
Gilbert Gottfried Dirty Jokes was released on both DVD and CD, featuring 50 non-stop minutes of Gottfried telling the funniest and filthiest jokes ever. The show was filmed live at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. Also featured on the DVD are some of the funniest bonus features ever, including wild stories, indignant ranting and celebrity impressions.
Rubber Balls and Liquor is Gilbert Gottfried’s hilarious first-ever book. Part memoir, part twisted social commentary, and part scratches on the bathroom wall. With this scathingly funny book of rants and musings, Gottfried sullies an entirely new medium with his dysfunctional worldview.
Oh, and did we mention the reality shows and podcast? Gilbert appeared on both ABC’s Celebrity Wife Swap, swapping with Alan Thicke, and NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice where Gilbert took his first trip into the boardroom and perhaps his last. And the podcast…Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast! where Gilbert journeys back in time with some of the Hollywood icons, legends, and behind the scenes talent who shaped (warped?) his childhood and influenced his unique brand of comedy. He is joined each week by his co-host and late night phone friend, fellow showbiz fanatic, and Comedy Writer Frank Santopadre.
In 2017, Gilbert the documentary about Gilbert Gottfried premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Director Neil Berkeley’s Gilbert reveals an unexpected side to the iconic comedian. The film peeks behind the larger-than-life persona at a more personal story about growing up in Brooklyn and becoming a husband and father late in life. Gilbert premiers on Hulu, fall 2017.
As a famed comics comic, Gottfried puts aside political correctness for his live performance and fires an onslaught of jokes that know no boundaries.
Stephen King on Gilbert Gottfried: “More than a national treasure, he’s a secret weapon. If we had had Gilbert Gottfried in World War II, Hitler would have given up in 1942.”
Gilbert, a lifelong resident of NYC is married with 2 children and has never had a drivers license.
Levity Mic’d Up
Levity Mic’d Up Thursday, December 19th at 8:00 PM
American Me Comedy debuted on November 24 2009 with its initial performance at the Improv in San Jose, California. An altruistic comedic mission fueled by playing the race card as the joker in the deck inspired the show’s creator, Jason Rogers.
Jason’s uniquely American upbringing as an adopted Korean kid in Mr. Roger’s white picket fence neighborhood gave him a distinctive “slant” on life, now put to hilarious use in his stand-up routines. The self-proclaimed “Caucasian Asian” put it this way, “I created the show to incorporate all kinds of comedians. I wanted to stay away from an all Asian, white, black, purple, blue themed show.”
Sharing the pot of gold at the end of this comedy rainbow is the motivating force behind American Me Comedy which merges the hottest stand up comedy with genuine, grass roots fundraising efforts for feel good frivolity at its philanthropic finest. Along with his humanitarian efforts, Rogers is seriously serious about his commitment to comedic excellence, “I want to give artists an outlet and an opportunity to voice their creative gift.”
American Me Comedy aspires to collaborate with major sponsors, non-profits and charities throughout the world. Past and current charity partners include: Fallen Angels, HI Tor, San Jose Police Department, Eastridge Little League, Overfelt High School Baseball Team, PAWS Philly, Happy Tails, Martin Luther King Reading Center, Team Green & the Fight against ALS, Team in Training/Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and FindOurFathers.com.
