Palisades Center offers the best “all under one roof” to Rockland County residents and visitors alike. Today they’re proud to announce a new benefit for its guests — a Tesla Supercharger station able to serve up to twenty drivers at once.

Now available at Rockland County’s number one tourist destination, Tesla Superchargers provide fast charging to owners, and are located next to great restaurants, entertainment venues, and shopping. The grand opening and ribbon cutting took place today at Palisades Center where the destination’s representatives, elected officials, and Tesla owners discussed the new opportunity of sustainability and economic growth within Rockland County.

WHAT: Telsa Superchargers – Now Available at Palisades Center
WHERE: Parking Lot F, near The Cheesecake Factory

“One of the obstacles to moving away from gasoline consumption is the need for new infrastructure,” said Assemblyman, Kenneth Zebrowski. “This partnership between Tesla and Palisades Center will provide a dependable spot for electric vehicle owners to charge up and maybe do some shopping in the meantime.”

“These new Tesla Superchargers are another step forward for economic growth, tourism and sustainability in Rockland County,” said Rockland County Executive Ed Day. “Thank you to Palisades Center and Tesla for their forward thinking development. I look forward to seeing Tesla owners visiting Rockland much more often now.”

“The Town of Clarkstown has been a leader in environmental initiatives from constructing the first solar field on a capped landfill in New York, purchasing hybrid vehicles, LED energy efficient lighting, and becoming a Climate Smart Community,” said Town Supervisor, George Hoehmann. “ The new Tesla Supercharger Station will expand the footprint for renewable energy in Clarkstown and the region.  Thank you to Palisades Center and Pyramid Management Group for sharing our dedication to our environment.”

“Congratulations on the installation of Tesla Superchargers at Palisades Center,” said Town Councilman, Donald Franchino. “As the center begins to diversify this addition is an important component for the future. Occupation of every square foot of the complex will help pave the way toward a healthy future.”

“As the number one ranked tourist attraction in Rockland County, Palisades Center is adding another community benefit to its menu of services provided to residents and visitors alike,” said President/CEO of the Rockland Business Association, Al Samuels. “These charging stations will be the largest within Rockland County and will contribute even further to our development mission of providing hospitality and tourism.”
