On Sunday, December 9th, Children within every spectrum of special needs and their families are invited to a private photo sessions, to experience the time-honored tradition of a visit with Santa Claus during dedicated hours at Palisades Center.
Santa Cares is a nationally-recognized program that is sponsored by Autism Speaks to allow families an opportunity to meet with Santa for small group interaction for an allotted timeframe in an environment that supports their sensory, physical, and developmental needs. Families may register for a fifteen minute time-slot with Santa for special and interactive meet and greets. Visits with Santa are free. Photo packages that capture holiday memories will be available for purchase during the event. As a reminder, families are able to capture their holiday memories with Santa until Monday, December 24th and to bring extended, furry members of the family to Pet Night on Sundays, December 9th and 16th.
