Beginning Tuesday, May 7th and running through December 16th, Palisades Center will be the site of family-friendly fun for kids of all ages. Formerly “Munchkin Mondays,” Tykes Tuesday offers a new activity almost every week on Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to noon inside Palisades Center for families looking for something fun to do all year long! With a new name and a new day to host various programs, Palisades Center is thrilled for all the new opportunities the enhanced program will provide.
The activities, which will be sponsored both by retailers and entertainment venues in Palisades Center, as well as by community organizations, aim to provide educational entertainment for children up to age of twelve.
The Tykes Tuesday 2019 schedule is as follows:
- May 7th: Princess Ball at the Mall! – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. within East Court, Level One near H&M
- Families are invited to dress-up to meet-and-greet the royal gathering of various princesses and their princes for Princess Ball at the Mall! Families will be greeted and be able to dance alongside by the Enchanted Princess and Prince, the Frog Princess and Prince, and more! This event is free and no registration is required.
- May 14th: Color Me Mine – Special Mother’s Day Paint Session – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Color Me Mine, Level Three near Macy’s
- Welcome spring and to celebrate all mothers’ to paint a special gift for Mother’s Day with Color Me Mine! Discounted project fee is $20.00, including waived studio fee for Tykes Tuesday families. Promotion only applies to event time-frame on 05/14/19. Seating is based on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. Ages 2-6 are eligible to participate. Proof of age required. - November 5th: Color Me Mine – Painting Turkeys – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Color Me Mine, Level Three near Macy’s
- Give thanks and to paint a turkey with Color Me Mine! Discounted project fee is $20.00, including waived studio fee for Tykes Tuesday families. - December 3rd: Color Me Mine – Painting with Santa – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Color Me Mine, Level Three near Macy’s
- Paint a custom cookie plate with Santa with Color Me Mine! Discounted project fee is $20.00, including waived studio fee for Tykes Tuesday families. - December 7th: Santa Breakfast & Dance Party – 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
- Tykes Tuesdays invites you and your family to join Santa for breakfast and a dance party! Breakfast begins at 9:00 a.m. with fun, interactive activities. By 10:00 a.m., Santa will join the fun and will sing and dance along with one of his favorite bands! Stay tuned for more information regarding admission.
- December 10th: Storytime with Santa – 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Yogibo on Level One, near Bed Bath & Beyond
- Join Santa for a special storytime reading with Yogibo! Registration is not required and this is a free event for all participants.
- December 17th: Color Me Mine – Painting with Santa – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Color Me Mine, Level Three near Macy’s
