Palisades Center in partnership with LiveOnNY, a nonprofit organization committed to helping New York live on through organ and tissue donation, will celebrate Donate Life Month on Saturday, April 17 from 12-4PM in the Food Court on Level 3.
Donate Life Month is a nationally recognized month focused on raising awareness and engagement for organ, eye, and tissue donation. This year’s Donate Life Month theme is Garden of Life, which symbolizes hope, courage, and transformation – themes repeatedly found within the donation journey.
LiveOnNY will be represented by Roxanne Watson, a Nanuet, New York resident, heart transplant recipient, and Donate Life Ambassador. Roxanne will be educating the public on the benefits of organ donation and registering new donors. Roxanne will be joined by WRCR AM 1700, Rockland County’s number one rated radio station, among other prominent community businesses and leaders.
“April is National Donor Organ Month and we’re excited to partner for our fifth year with Palisades Center to share information with the community and save lives,” said Roxanne Watson, Donate Life Ambassador.
