NEURO-QUEER SUPPORT GROUP– BRIDGES & Rockland County Pride Center are collaborating to offer the Neuro-Queer Support Group for individuals who fall under the Neurodiversity spectrum (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, Mental Health, etc.) who are also queer self-identified. Thursdays at 2:30 PM

ANXIETY RELIEF AND MEDITATION SUPPORT GROUP– Learn to deal with anxiety and stress through mindful breathing and mental imagery. The power of breath can directly affect your physiological state of our bodies. Join us to learn simple techniques on how to control your breath! Vet to Vet

VETERANS WALIKING CLUB- Wednesday, December 9, at 9:30 am, in the Palisades Center. Meet in front of BRIDGES located on the 2nd Floor. The Mall’s  stores and businesses open at 10
am. Masks are required while in the mall. Walks will take between 45 minutes to an hour. Join fast pace groups, slow pace groups or walk at your own pace. Just get walking! 

 COOKING WITH THE CORPS- Wednesday, December 9, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm  This is a
virtual cooking class via zoom with Chef Chris Martinez, USMC Retiree who studied at the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan, NY. QIGONG EXERCISE GROUP- Every Thursday from 9 am to 10 am via Zoom. Session is led by Norman Galinsky , MFA  who has more than 36 years of study, practice, and teaching of Chinese healing and martial arts. Gentle, meditative exercises based on the cultivation and refinement of  Universal Life Energy known as Qi. Exercises aim to reduce pain, stress, and anxiety while improving physical fitness, vitality and immune functionality. TAPPING EMOTIONAL GREEDOM TECNIQUES (EFT)- Every Friday at 10 am via Zoom. Session is led by EFT Master, Jondi Whitis. Commonly referred to as ‘Tapping,’ EFT uses a unique combination of ancient Eastern and  Western medicine to bring together an efficient mix of mindfulness, brief exposure, neural re -consolidation and simultaneously uses the somatic, to down-regulate the nervous system by  using the body’s meridian energy (Qi) system. It’s a fast way to feel better and we’ll teach  you to simply use your own fingertips to Tap upon just a few of the body’s acupressure  points, while focusing upon an issue you’d like to change for the better.
