Palisades Center welcomes the Center for Safety & Change for a Denim Day event. The evening program will include three dance numbers as well as speeches. “Denim Day” has become a symbol of protest against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual assault based on a trial overturned in the 1990s and is celebrated during the month of April, also known as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Attendees are invited to wear teal and denim to support the cause.
Those interested in participating must register by visiting https://denimday18.eventbrite.com. For more information, please contact Shar Adrias and Traci McLee at [email protected] or by calling (845) 634-3391.
