Seeking an experienced chef who is able to prepare and execute a variety of Jamaican dishes including fish, jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, oxtail, curry goat, shrimp, mix vegetables, and a variety of different salads.
This person must be flexible with their work schedule.
Duties includes but not limited to the following:
- Be able to execute Caribbean dishes and menu
- This person must be able to maintain a sanitary work environment at all times. Kitchen and equipment must be clean at all times and before leaving for the night.
- Must be mindful and practice a safe healthy work environment at all times
- Use of safe and hygienic food handling practice
- Follow best practice in opening and or closing kitchen and follow an established checklist
- Experience with Jamaican cuisine (Training will be provided)
