There are heroes among us who inspire us by their actions, compassion, and dedication to serving others LoHud.com and Palisades Center have again partnered to recognize and honor our local heroes at the second annual “Honor Our Heroes” awards. In an effort to recognize these community members we have created an awards ceremony to show them just how much their kindness, bravery and/or unselfish acts are truly appreciated. We will be choosing 10 local heroes to honor, nominated by a member of our community, at a gala event on November 8th, 2008 at Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY.
